Job Summary

Ensure accounting records are maintained accurately, completely, and in compliance with applicable legislation;
Oversee the timely recording of daily financial transactions in the accounting system;
Maintain accounting records for bank, cash, accounts receivable, and accounts payable transactions;
Prepare and review e-invoices, invoices, and other primary accounting documents;
Calculate payroll, vacation pay, business travel allowances, and other employee-related payments;
Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual tax, statistical, and other regulatory reports;
Prepare financial statements, including the Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss Statement, and Cash Flow Statement;
Maintain accounting records for fixed assets, depreciation, inventories, and other assets;
Support responses to inquiries from tax authorities and other government institutions;
Prepare documentation required for audits and cooperate with external and internal auditors;
Provide regular reports and analyses to the Chief Accountant and finance management;
Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, controls, and reporting efficiency.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field;
Minimum 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience;
Strong knowledge of Azerbaijani tax legislation, labor legislation, and accounting regulations;
Proficiency in 1C accounting systems and advanced MS Excel skills;
Experience with financial reporting and statutory reporting processes;
Experience in government institutions or state-participated entities is considered an advantage;
Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills;
High level of responsibility, accuracy, and ability to handle confidential information;
PMS certification and/or IFRS knowledge is considered an advantage.
